Is financial aid available?

A limited number of scholarships will be available on a merit basis. You can indicate whether or not you would like to be considered for financial aid on your application.

How will decisions on financial aid be made?

Decisions will be made based on the content of your application including the essay responses.

Am I required to live in 85 Broads housing?

Living in 85 Broads housing is required. Over the course of the Broad Advantage an amazing community of motivated and dynamic undergrads develops—encouraged in part by staying in shared dormitories. This community is one of the most valuable and inspiring parts of the Advantage.

Will I have a roommate?

You will have one or two roommates for the duration of the program.

Are the housing areas safe?

Yes. But as always, you should be aware of your surroundings while traveling.

Who can attend the Broad Advantage?

Current undergraduate 85 Broads members are invited to apply for the Broad Advantage for Undergraduates. Outgoing seniors, class of 2008, may apply for the Broad Advantages in the summer of 2008.
