This has been a crazy year so far. Since January, I’ve been traveling virtually nonstop to conferences and client meetings, as well as speaking engagements on my book, Rewired. I feel like I have been home about three weeks all year! Madness.
On top of the traveling we moved house and offices in March, so it’s really been crazy. But you know what? I love every minute of it. I love to travel, I love to connect with people, I love adventure, and I love to work. I don't love living out of boxes, but I love what it represents—new beginnings and new opportunities.
Right now, I’m enjoying being back in Cambridge, if only for a few days. I am enjoying the solitude of my sun-filled home and the cat on my lap. And I realize that I really need this. I need to balance the go-go-go with quiet and calm. I think we all do. We all need to stop and just be present in our lives.

It’s easy to get caught up in the adrenaline and excitement of going full tilt 24/7, of being always plugged in to our screens and gadgets, but it is critically important to find the time to unwire, to unplug, and to rejuvenate oneself for wellness.
Here are some tips to unplug at home:
We all move so fast every day, with so many demands on our time and attention. We need to unplug at home to rest and recalibrate. Remember, we can be wired for wellness if we can unwire, too.
