My boyfriend and I are now in Prague after having travelled from Staufen and Munich and Nuremberg. The four days in Staufen were well spent hiking through the Black Forest, and getting only a little lost but recovering with a little creative bushwacking, eating our weight in white asparagus and pfifferlings (tan seasonal mushrooms), walking through the local vineyards to a castle ruin on a hill, and drinking prodigiously. Hello from Strasborg, France. I am just in to Strasbourg from Mount St- Michael on the western front of France. Very interesting to go from one extreme in the country to the other. I have just started my 70 day backpacking trip through Europe. I am in Paris at present and am enjoying it immensely. I have been blown away by the food, art, architecture, and hospitality.
