MCM Designstudio is a boutique architecture and design firm and sustainability consultancy founded in 1994 by the Serbo-Swiss US-educated architect Milena Cvijanovich and her husband Denis Muller. MCM’s expertise lies in the luxury commercial and residential fields and incorporates sustainable development and alternative energy solutions. Custom-made turnkey solutions result in a perfect fit for the client, expressing the client’s philosophy and identity while providing exciting, seductive and innovative environments. MCM Designstudio considers each site unique and each project a new challenge. As such, new materials and techniques are explored each time and the use of virtual images and animations throughout the project phases allows for a close collaboration and understanding among client, design team, suppliers and contractors. The main office is located in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a second office in Poznan, Poland and other team members worldwide. MCM provides a wide palette of services in the luxury sector with an ever-present core of sustainability. MCM is an investor in several projects based on luxury, sustainability and avant-garde travel concepts such as Island(E)motion, a sustainable nomadic island/yacht vessel and Ethnosphere, a label of exclusive furniture and home accessories to be launched in Spring 2013.
